• You must be at least 18 years old (or the legal age of majority in your jurisdiction) to use this Service.
• You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information when generating your biodata or invitation.
• You agree not to use the Service for any unlawful, fraudulent, or misleading purpose, or to upload content that infringes on another person's rights.

MeraParichay acts strictly as a self-service design and formatting tool. We do not verify, vet, background-check, or validate any information entered into the biodatas or invitations created on our platform.

You are solely responsible for the accuracy, legality, and honesty of the personal, familial, and professional information you display on your biodata or invitation, including any guest, venue, or event details. We assume no liability for any family disputes, broken engagements, missed or incorrect event communication, misrepresentations, or legal issues resulting from false or misleading information.

Digital Wedding Invitations let you create a shareable event page with your event details and uploaded images. By using this feature, you agree to the following:

• Content is your responsibility: You are responsible for the accuracy of all event details (dates, times, venues) and for owning or having permission to use any images you upload.
• Link sharing: Anyone with the invitation link can view its contents. Do not include information you don't want publicly accessible to anyone who has or guesses the link.
• Automatic expiry: Invitation data and uploaded images are automatically and permanently deleted 15 days after creation (or after the listed event date, whichever applies), as described in our Privacy Policy. After expiry, the invitation link will stop working and the content cannot be recovered. You are responsible for saving or downloading anything you want to keep before expiry.
• No guarantee of uptime: While we aim for the invitation link to remain accessible throughout its active period, we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability and are not liable for any disruption before the scheduled expiry.

• Your Content: You retain full ownership and copyright of all text, images, and data you enter into the platform, including biodata content and invitation content.
• Our Templates: MeraParichay retains all rights over the visual designs, layouts, typography styling, code, and templates — including Premium Templates. You are granted a non-exclusive licence to download, print, and share your compiled biodata or invitation for personal use only. You may not resell, redistribute, or commercially repurpose our design templates.

Some templates and features may be offered as paid Premium Templates. Where applicable, pricing will be shown before purchase, and access is granted for personal use as described in Section 4. Premium purchases are generally non-refundable once a template has been downloaded or used, except where required by applicable law. Specific refund terms, if any, will be shown at the time of purchase.

Biodata Maker: This is a fully client-side feature. Your biodata data is stored only in your browser's local storage and is not backed up on our servers. You are responsible for saving and backing up your information; we are not liable for any loss of data due to browser storage clearing, device changes, or other client-side events.

Digital Wedding Invitations: Invitation data and images are stored temporarily on our servers and automatically deleted after 15 days, as described in Section 3 and our Privacy Policy. We are not liable for loss of this data after the automatic deletion period.

MeraParichay is supported in part by advertising, including ads served through Google AdSense. Ads are provided by third parties, and we do not control the specific content of individual advertisements. We are not responsible for the products, services, or claims made in any third-party advertisement displayed on our Service. See our Privacy Policy for details on how advertising cookies are used and how to opt out of personalized ads.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, MeraParichay shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, arising out of your use or inability to use the Service, including any Digital Wedding Invitation content lost after its automatic expiry.

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time, including as we introduce new features such as Digital Wedding Invitations and Premium Templates. We will notify users of any major changes by updating the "Last Updated" date at the top of this document. Continued use of the platform after updates implies acceptance of the new Terms.
