a) Biodata Maker: To generate your marriage biodata, we collect personal information you voluntarily provide — full name, photographs, date of birth, family details (parents' names, occupations), caste/community/religion (optional), educational qualifications, job info, and contact details.

b) Digital Wedding Invitations: To create and share a digital invitation, we collect the event details you enter (names, dates, venue, event schedule) and any images you upload (couple photos, event graphics).

c) Analytics & Advertising: We use Google Analytics and Google AdSense, which may collect anonymized usage data and use cookies or similar technologies, as described in Section 6 below.

Biodata Maker (client-side only): Your biodata profile information and uploaded photographs are processed entirely within your browser to generate a downloadable PDF. Nothing from the Biodata Maker is transmitted to or stored on our servers. Your in-progress draft is saved only in your browser's local storage, so it never leaves your device.

Digital Wedding Invitations (server-side, temporary): Because invitations are designed to be shared via a link with your guests, the event details and images you upload for an invitation are stored securely on our servers so that your shareable link works for everyone you send it to.

• Each invitation page is generated with a fixed active period. Both the invitation data and any uploaded images are automatically and permanently deleted 15 days after the invitation link is created or after the invitation's listed event date passes, whichever applies — after which the link will no longer be accessible.
• We do not use invitation content (text or images) for any purpose other than displaying your invitation to the people you share it with.
• If you'd like your invitation and images deleted earlier, contact us using the details in Section 8 and we'll remove it manually.

Biodata data belongs entirely to you and lives entirely on your device. You can delete it anytime by clicking "Start Fresh" on the draft prompt, or by clearing your browser's local storage for this site.

Invitation data (event details and images) is automatically deleted from our servers 15 days after creation, as described in Section 2. You may also request earlier deletion by contacting us directly.

Biodata processing happens entirely client-side in your browser, so that information is never transmitted to our servers. For Digital Wedding Invitations, uploaded images and event details are stored on secure, access-controlled cloud infrastructure for the 15-day active period only, and are permanently deleted afterward. We follow standard security practices across our hosting, storage, and analytics infrastructure, but no method of electronic storage or transmission is ever 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal data to any third parties. We use the following third-party services to operate the platform:

• Google Analytics: Anonymized usage analytics. See Google's Privacy Policy.
• Google AdSense: Displays advertisements on our site. See Section 6 below for details on how Google uses cookies for ad personalization.
• Google Fonts: Font delivery via fonts.googleapis.com.
• Cloud hosting & storage: Used to host the website and to temporarily store Digital Wedding Invitation data and images for the 15-day active period described above.

We use Google AdSense to display advertisements on MeraParichay. Google and its partners use cookies (including the DoubleClick cookie) and similar technologies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites.

• You can opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings.
• You can also opt out of third-party vendor use of cookies for personalized advertising by visiting www.aboutads.info.
• Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on a user's prior visits to this website or other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to our users based on their visit to our site and/or other sites on the Internet.

MeraParichay is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time as we add new features (such as Digital Wedding Invitations and Premium Templates) or as required by law.
